Judgment on Judah and Jerusalem

For behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts,
Takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah
The[a] stock and the store,
The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water;

Услышь, что говорю тебе. Владыка, Господь Всемогущий, заберёт всё, от чего зависят Иудея и Иерусалим. Он заберёт всю пищу и всю воду.

2

The mighty man and the man of war,
The judge and the prophet,
And the diviner and the elder;

2

Он заберёт всех героев и храбрых воинов, всех судей, пророков, кудесников и старейшин.

3

The captain of fifty and the [b]honorable man,
The counselor and the skillful artisan,
And the expert enchanter.

Заберёт всех полководцев и лучших правителей, опытных советников и мудрецов, которые предсказывают будущее.

4

“I will give children[c] to be their princes,
And [d]babes shall rule over them.

Бог говорит: "Я сделаю так, что вашими правителями будут юноши.

5

The people will be oppressed,
Every one by another and every one by his neighbor;
The child will be insolent toward the [e]elder,
And the [f]base toward the honorable.”

Все будут друг против друга, молодые перестанут почитать старших, простолюдины перестанут уважать знатных".

When a man takes hold of his brother
In the house of his father, saying,
“You have clothing;
You be our ruler,
And let these ruins be under your [g]power,”

Тогда человек схватит своего брата, в своём же доме, и скажет ему: "У тебя есть плащ, поэтому будь вождём, владей этими руинами".

In that day he will protest, saying,
“I cannot cure your ills,
For in my house is neither food nor clothing;
Do not make me a ruler of the people.”

Но брат его встанет и скажет: "Я не могу тебе помочь, в моём доме нет ни одежды, ни хлеба, не избирай меня вождём".

8

For Jerusalem stumbled,
And Judah is fallen,
Because their tongue and their doings
Are against the Lord,
To provoke the eyes of His glory.

Так случится, ибо споткнулся Иерусалим и сделал неверный шаг, упала Иудея и перестала следовать Богу. Все дела их — против Бога, и видят это очи Господни.

9

The look on their countenance witnesses against them,
And they declare their sin as Sodom;
They do not hide it.
Woe to their soul!
For they have brought evil upon themselves.

По лицам людей видно, что они виновны в неправых своих делах, но они горды своими грехами, как жители Содома. Им всё равно, кто видит их грехи. Плохо им будет, ибо отплатится им за сотворённое зло!

“Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them,
For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Согласись, что хорошо, когда праведным воздается по их делам.

11

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
For the reward of his hands shall be [h]given him.

11

Но горе беззаконным, когда получат возмездие за сотворённое ими зло.

12

As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you [i]cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.”

12

Дети одолеют Мой народ, женщины будут править им. Народ Мой, твои поводыри ведут тебя не туда, они уводят тебя с правильного пути.

13

Oppression and Luxury Condemned

The Lord stands up to [j]plead,
And stands to judge the people.

13

Господь встал, чтобы высказать Свои обвинения, Он встаёт, чтобы судить народ.

14

The Lord will enter into judgment
With the elders of His people
And His princes:
“For you have [k]eaten up the vineyard;
The plunder of the poor is in your houses.

14

Господь идёт судить старейшин и вождей Своего народа. Господь говорит: "Вы сожгли виноградники (Иудею), и добро, которые вы отняли у бедных, до сих пор у вас в домах.

15

What do you mean by crushing My people
And grinding the faces of the poor?”
Says the Lord God of hosts.

15

Что даёт вам право угнетать Мой народ, что даёт вам право толкать бедных лицом в грязь?" Создатель, Господь Всемогущий, об этом спросил.

16

Moreover the Lord says:
“Because the daughters of Zion are haughty,
And walk with [l]outstretched necks
And [m]wanton eyes,
Walking and [n]mincing as they go,
Making a jingling with their feet,

Господь говорит: "Возгордились женщины Сиона, они ходят, задирая головы, и считают себя лучше других. Они завлекают взглядами и танцуют, звеня цепочками на щиколотках".

17

Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab
The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion,
And the Lord will uncover their secret parts.”

Господь принесёт боль на головы дочерей Сиона, Господь лишит их волос.

18

In that day the Lord will take away the finery:
The jingling anklets, the [o]scarves, and the crescents;

Господь заберёт всё, чем они похваляются: красивые цепочки на щиколотках, ожерелья в виде солнц и лун,

19

The pendants, the bracelets, and the veils;

19

серьги, браслеты, вуали, шарфы и цепи, пояса, флаконы духов и амулеты,

20

The headdresses, the leg ornaments, and the headbands;
The perfume boxes, the charms,

20

перстни с печатями и кольца для носа,

21

and the rings;
The nose jewels,

21

тонкие накидки, шали и кошельки,

22

the festal apparel, and the mantles;
The outer garments, the purses,

22

зеркала, платья, тюрбаны, длинные шали.

23

and the mirrors;
The fine linen, the turbans, and the robes.

23

Их духи заплесневеют, вместо поясов будут верёвки, вместо завитых волос — обритые головы, вместо праздничных одежд будут траурные и вместо мушек на лицах — клейма.

24

And so it shall be:
Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench;
Instead of a sash, a rope;
Instead of well-set hair, baldness;
Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth;
And [p]branding instead of beauty.

И падут от мечей мужчины, умрут на войне герои.

25

Your men shall fall by the sword,
And your [q]mighty in the war.

25

И будет печаль и плач у городских ворот, и будет сидеть возле них Иерусалим, как женщина, у которой всё унесли грабители, и будет плакать, сидя на земле.
