He Is Risen

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.

Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

І на світанку першого дня тижня, як зійшло сонце, вони приходять до гробниці.

And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”

І говорили вони між собою: Хто відвалить нам камінь від входу в гробницю?

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away — for it was very large.

Та, придивившись, бачать, що камінь відвалений, хоча був дуже великий.

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

Увійшовши до гробниці, вони побачили зодягненого в білий одяг юнака, який сидів праворуч, і жахнулися!

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

А він каже їм: Не лякайтеся! Ви шукаєте Ісуса Назарянина, розіп’ятого? Він воскрес — нема Його тут! Ось місце, де поховали Його!

But go, tell His disciples — and Peter — that He is going [a]before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

Ідіть і скажіть Його учням та Петрові, що Він випередить вас у Галилеї. Там ви Його побачите, як і сказав вам!

So they went out [b]quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

І, вийшовши, вони побігли від гробниці, бо їх охопили тремтіння і жах; та нікому нічого не сказали, бо боялися.

Mary Magdalene Sees the Risen Lord

[c]Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

А як воскрес Він уранці першого дня тижня, то з’явився найперше Марії Магдалині, з якої вигнав сім бісів.

She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.

Пішовши, вона сповістила тим, які з Ним були. Вони плакали й ридали,

And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

а дізнавшись, що Він живий і що вона бачила Його, не повірили.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples

After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.

Після цього Він з’явився в іншому вигляді двом перехожим, які йшли до села.

And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

А ті вже сповістили іншим, але і їм не повірили.

The Great Commission

Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

Нарешті Він з’явився одинадцятьом, коли вони були за столом. Він докоряв їм за невірство і твердосердя, тому що не повірили тим, які побачили Його воскреслого.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

І Він сказав їм: Ідіть по цілому світі й усьому творінню проповідуйте Євангеліє.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

16

Хто повірить і охреститься, буде спасенний, а хто не повірить, осуджений буде.

17

And these signs will follow those who [d]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

І такі ознаки будуть супроводжувати тих, хто повірив: Моїм Ім’ям виганятимуть бісів, говоритимуть новими мовами,

18

they[e] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

братимуть у руки зміїв; і хоча щось смертоносне вип’ють, їм не зашкодить; будуть покладати руки на хворих, і вони ставатимуть здоровими.

Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Після того, як Господь Ісус промовив до них, Він вознісся на небо і сів праворуч Бога.

20

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Вони ж пішли і проповідували всюди, а Господь допомагав і стверджував слово чудесами, які його супроводжували. [Амінь].
