New Living Translation

New King James Version

  • A psalm of David.

    Who may worship in your sanctuary, LORD?
    Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
  • The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord

    A Psalm of David.

    Lord, who may [a]abide in Your tabernacle?
    Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
  • Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right,
    speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
  • He who walks uprightly,
    And works righteousness,
    And speaks the truth in his heart;
  • Those who refuse to gossip
    or harm their neighbors
    or speak evil of their friends.
  • He who does not backbite with his tongue,
    Nor does evil to his neighbor,
    Nor does he [b]take up a reproach against his friend;
  • Those who despise flagrant sinners,
    and honor the faithful followers of the LORD,
    and keep their promises even when it hurts.
  • In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
    But he honors those who fear the Lord;
    He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
  • Those who lend money without charging interest,
    and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent.
    Such people will stand firm forever.
  • He who does not put out his money at usury,
    Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
    He who does these things shall never be moved.
