The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. -

Two Baskets of Figs
After Jehoiachina son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and the officials, the skilled workers and the artisans of Judah were carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Lord showed me two baskets of figs placed in front of the temple of the Lord. -

Siehe, der HERR zeigte mir zwei Feigenkörbe, gestellt vor den Tempel des HERRN, nachdem der König zu Babel, Nebukadnezar, hatte weggeführt Jechonja, den Sohn Jojakims, den König Juda’s, samt den Fürsten Juda’s und den Zimmerleuten und Schmieden von Jerusalem und gen Babel gebracht.

Der babylonische König Nebukadnezar hatte den judäischen König Jojachin, Jojakims Sohn, von Jerusalem in die Gefangenschaft nach Babylonien gebracht, zusammen mit den obersten Beamten, Schmieden und Schlossern. Danach gab mir der HERR eine Vision: Ich sah zwei Körbe mit Feigen vor dem Tempel stehen.

Der HERR ließ mich schauen und siehe: Zwei Körbe mit Feigen standen vor dem Tempel des HERRN. Dies geschah, nachdem Nebukadnezzar, der König von Babel, Jojachin, den Sohn Jojakims, den König von Juda, sowie die Fürsten von Juda samt den Schmieden und Schlossern aus Jerusalem weggeführt und sie nach Babel gebracht hatte.
