The Land Given to Ephraim and West Manasseh
The allotment for the descendants of Joseph extended from the Jordan River near Jericho, east of the springs of Jericho, through the wilderness and into the hill country of Bethel.

Und das Los fiel den Kindern Joseph aufgangwärts vom Jordan gegenüber Jericho bis zum Wasser bei Jericho, und die Wüste, die heraufgeht von Jericho durch das Gebirge gen Beth–El;
und kommt von Beth–El heraus gen Lus und geht durch zur Grenze des Arachiters gen Ataroth
und zieht sich hernieder abendwärts zu der Grenze des Japhletiters bis an die Grenze des niedern Beth–Horon und bis gen Geser; und das Ende ist am Meer.
This was the homeland allocated to the families of Joseph’s sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.
Das haben zum Erbteil genommen die Kinder Josephs, Manasse und Ephraim.

The following territory was given to the clans of the tribe of Ephraim.

From Tappuah the boundary extended westward, following the Kanah Ravine to the Mediterranean Sea. This is the homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Ephraim.
