Dann erstarkt der König des Südens; aber einer von seinen Feldherrn wird mächtiger als er und tritt die Herrschaft an und seine Herrschaft wird noch gewaltiger sein.

Und der König gegen Mittag, welcher ist seiner Fürsten einer, wird mächtig werden; aber gegen ihn wird einer auch mächtig sein und herrschen, dessen Herrschaft wird groß sein.

Dann gewinnt der König des Südreichs an Einfluss, doch einer seiner Heerführer wird noch bedeutender als er und errichtet im Norden ein noch größeres Reich.
