Schon rücken deine Eroberer heran, Ninive! Sie werden dich dem Erdboden gleichmachen. Bewach deine Festungen nur gut, stell überall Posten auf! Nimm all deine Kraft zusammen und rüste dich für den Kampf!

Es wird der Zerstreuer wider dich heraufziehen und die Feste belagern. Siehe wohl auf die Straße, rüste dich aufs beste und stärke dich aufs gewaltigste!

Ein Mann zieht hinauf gegen dich, der dich zerschmettern wird. Halt Wache! Beobachte die Wege! Mach deine Hüften stark! Rüste dich mit Macht und Kraft!
