Hoffnung für Alle
Wirf dich nicht vor solchen Götterfiguren nieder, bring ihnen keine Opfer dar! Denn ich bin der HERR, dein Gott. Ich dulde keinen neben mir! Wer mich verachtet, den werde ich bestrafen. Sogar seine Kinder, Enkel und Urenkel werden die Folgen spüren!

Du sollst sie nicht anbeten noch ihnen dienen. Denn ich, der HERR, dein Gott, bin ein eifriger Gott, der die Missetat der Väter heimsucht über die Kinder ins dritte und vierte Glied, die mich hassen;

Du sollst dich nicht vor ihnen niederwerfen und ihnen nicht dienen. Denn ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, ein eifersüchtiger Gott: Ich suche die Schuld der Väter an den Kindern heim, an der dritten und vierten Generation, bei denen, die mich hassen;
