Denn es soll sich auch einmal alle Welt vor mir fürchten, daß Pharao und alle seine Menge liegen unter den Unbeschnittenen und mit dem Schwert Erschlagenen, spricht der HERR HERR.

Ich ließ es zu, dass er anderen Völkern Angst und Schrecken einjagte, doch jetzt muss er ins Totenreich zu den unbeschnittenen Heiden, die im Krieg ihr Leben ließen. Das ist das Ende des Pharaos und seiner ganzen Pracht. Das sage ich, Gott, der HERR.«

Denn ich habe meinen Schrecken verbreitet im Land der Lebenden. Doch jetzt liegt der Pharao da mit seinem ganzen Gefolge inmitten der unbeschnittenen Männer, bei denen, die das Schwert erschlug — Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn.
