Isaiah 46

Пал на колени Бел, склоняется Нево221;
идолы их погружены на вьючных животных.
То, что носили вы, нагружено
поклажей на усталых животных.

Babylon's Idols

Bel is bowed down, Nebo bendeth; their idols are upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: the things ye carried are laid on, a burden to the weary [beast].

Вместе они все склоняются и падают на колени;
не в силах спасти поклажу,
они сами идут в плен.

They bend, they are bowed down together; they could not deliver the burden, and themselves are gone into captivity.

— Слушай Меня, дом Иакова,
все уцелевшие из дома Израиля,
вы, кого Я принял от чрева
и носил с тех пор, как вы родились.

Hearken unto me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, ye who have been borne from the belly, who have been carried from the womb:

И до старости вашей, до седины,
это Я, Я буду заботиться о вас.
Я вас создал и буду носить вас,
печься о вас и спасать.

Even to old age, I [am] HE, and unto hoary hairs I will carry [you]: It is I that have made, and I will bear, and I will carry, and will deliver.

С кем вы Меня сравните,
равным кому сочтете?
Кому вы Меня уподобите,
чтобы сравниться нам?

To whom will ye liken me and make me equal, or compare me, that we may be like?

Те, кто расточает золото из кошельков
и отвешивает на весах серебро —
те нанимают плавильщика,
который делает из этого бога.
Они простираются перед этим идолом222
и поклоняются ему.

-- They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance; they hire a goldsmith, and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.

Они поднимают его на плечи и носят;
ставят его на место, и он стоит.
С места своего он не двигается.
Пусть взывают к нему — не ответит;
он не может спасти от беды.

They bear him on the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place; there he standeth, he doth not remove from his place: yea, one crieth unto him, and he answereth not; he saveth him not out of his trouble.

Вспомните это и поразмыслите,
в памяти переберите, отступники.

Remember this, and shew yourselves men; call it to mind, ye transgressors.

Вспомните прежние дела, бывшие издревле;
Я — Бог, и другого нет,
Я — Бог, и нет Мне равного.

Remember the former things of old; for I [am] God, and there is none else; [I am] God, and there is none like me;

Я возвестил о конце изначала,
из древности — о грядущем.
Я говорю: «Мой замысел устоит,
все, что угодно Мне — сделаю».

declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;

С востока зову Я хищную птицу,
из далекой страны —
человека, исполнить Мой замысел.
То, что Я сказал, Я исполню;
то, что задумал, — сделаю.

calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Слушайте Меня, упрямые сердцем,
далекие от праведности223:

Hearken unto me, ye stout-hearted, that are far from righteousness:

Я приближаю Свою праведность,224
недалека она;
спасение Мое не замедлит.
Я дарую спасение Сиону
и славу Мою — Израилю.

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not delay; and I will give salvation in Zion, [and] unto Israel my glory.
