Самым хитрым из всех диких зверей, сотворённых Господом Богом, был змей. Он заговорил с женщиной: "Женщина, правда ли, что Бог запретил вам есть плоды с деревьев в саду?"

Змей был хитрее всех зверей полевых, которых создал Господь Бог. И сказал змей жене: подлинно ли сказал Бог: «не ешьте ни от какого дерева в раю»?

Из всех диких зверей, которых создал Господь Бог, самым хитрым был змей. Он спросил женщину:
— Правда ли Бог сказал: «Не ешьте ни с какого дерева в саду»? -
З усіх же польових звірів, що їх сотворив Господь Бог, найхитріший був змій. Він і сказав до жінки: "Чи справді Господь Бог велів вам не їсти ні з якого дерева, що в саді?"

The Serpent's Deception
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? -

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” -

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” -
