Бог не забыл про Ноя. Он помнил о нём и обо всех животных, которые были с Ноем в лодке. Бог послал на землю ветер, и вода стала спадать.
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.
Дождь перестал лить с неба, и вода перестала выступать из-под земли.
Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.
Покрывавшая землю вода стала убывать и через 150 дней опустилась настолько, что лодка снова коснулась суши,
The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,
остановившись на Араратских горах. Это было на семнадцатый день седьмого месяца.
and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.
Сорок дней спустя Ной открыл сделанное им окно лодки
After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark
и выпустил на волю ворона. Тот перелетал с места на место, пока земля не высохла, и вся вода не ушла.
and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.
Тогда Ной выпустил голубя, потому что хотел, чтобы тот нашёл сушу. Ной хотел узнать, покрывает ли ещё землю вода.
Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
Вода всё ещё покрывала землю; голубь не мог найти места, чтобы передохнуть, и возвратился в лодку. Ной высунул руку, поймал голубя и взял его обратно в лодку.
But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
Через семь дней Ной снова выпустил голубя,
He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.
и после полудня тот возвратился к Ною, неся в клюве свежий лист оливы; так Ной узнал, что на земле вновь появилась суша.
When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
Прошло ещё семь дней, и Ной снова выпустил голубя, но на этот раз тот не вернулся обратно.
He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
Тогда Ной открыл дверь лодки и, оглядевшись, увидел, что земля высохла. Это было в первый день первого месяца года, Ною был 601 год.
By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
К двадцать седьмому дню второго месяца вся земля высохла.
By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.
"Выйди из лодки. Ты, твоя жена, твои сыновья и жёны твоих сыновей должны теперь выйти наружу.
“Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.
Выведи с собой из лодки всех животных: всех птиц, всех зверей и всех земных пресмыкающихся. От этих животных пойдёт великое множество других, и вскоре они снова заполнят землю".
Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you — the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground — so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it.”
Ной вышел наружу со своими сыновьями, женой и с жёнами сыновей.
So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives.
Все звери, все пресмыкающиеся и все птицы также вышли из лодки каждый со своим родом.
All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds — everything that moves on land — came out of the ark, one kind after another.
После этого Ной построил Господу жертвенник и, взяв некоторых из чистых птиц и некоторых из чистых животных, сжёг их на этом жертвеннике, принеся в дар Господу.
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.
Господь почувствовал благоухание жертвы, и это было Ему угодно. Он сказал Себе: "Никогда больше не прокляну землю в наказание людям. Люди с юности полны зла. Никогда больше не уничтожу всё живое на земле. Нет, больше Я такого не сделаю.
