Elihu Rebukes Job
Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
Сердце моё чисто, и слова мои будут честны, и о том, что я знаю, скажу правду.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
Дух Божий сотворил меня, вся жизнь моя от Всемогущего исходит.
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Слушай меня, Иов, и отвечай, приготовь ответы для спора со мною.
If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
Мы одинаковы перед Богом, мы слеплены Богом из одинаковой глины.
Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
Не бойся меня, Иов, моя рука тебе не будет тяжела.
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
Но слышал я, Иов, всё, что ты говорил, я слышал все твои слова:
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
"Я чист и безгрешен, я чист, и ни в чём не повинен.
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
Я злого ничего не совершил, но Бог против меня, Он считает меня врагом.
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
Бог на ноги мои цепи надел, смотрит за всем, что я делаю".
He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
Но в этом ты, Иов, не прав, потому что Бог знает больше других.
Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
Ты споришь с Богом, Иов, думаешь, что Господь должен всё объяснять.
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
Но Бог, возможно, говорит однажды, путями разными, но люди не внимают.
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
Бог людям говорит во снах, возможно, в видениях ночных, когда их сон глубок.
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
Тогда они пугаются, услышав предупрежденья Господа.
Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
Бог от неправильных поступков и от гордыни их предупреждает.
That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
Предупреждает Бог, чтобы спасти от смерти, чтобы уберечь от поражения людей.
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
Услышать человеку голос Господа возможно и в постели, когда он от наказания Господнего страдает. Такою болью Бог его предупреждает, что у него болят все кости.
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
Тогда и есть не может человек, от боли он и лучшей пищей недоволен.
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
Плоть человека истощается: он тонок настолько, что видны все кости.
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
Он приближается к могиле, и жизнь его близка к концу.
Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
У Бога много ангелов, и, быть может, один из них следит за этим человеком и Богу правильный даёт совет.
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
Тот ангел к человеку добр и, может быть, он скажет Богу: "Упаси его от смерти, нашёл я, как оплатить его грехи".
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
Тогда вновь станет тело молодым и сильным, и будет этот человек таким же, как в молодости.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
И будет он молиться Богу, и Господь ответит на его молитву, и закричит он в радости, и Богу поклонится и будет в праведности жить.
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
С людьми другими он поделится и скажет: "Да, я грешил, я правде изменял, но Бог не покарал меня, как должно.
He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
Бог мою душу спас от смерти, и я могу вновь жизнью наслаждаться".
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
И вновь всё делает Господь для человека этого,
Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
чтобы предупредить его, спасти от смерти, чтоб он жизнью насладился.
To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
Иов, прислушайся к моим словам, молчи и дай мне дальше говорить.
Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
Но если ты, Иов, мне хочешь возразить, то говори, я выслушаю оправданья, поскольку я хочу тебе помочь.
If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
