В чудесный летний полдень люди будут отдыхать (во время уборки урожая, когда нет дождя, а лишь роса на траве по утрам). И случится страшное, будет час, когда распускаются цветы, и виноград завязывает почки, но ещё до сбора придёт враг и посечёт все лозы, потопчет виноградники и разбросает вокруг.

Ибо прежде собирания винограда, когда он отцветёт, и гроздь начнёт созревать, Он отрежет ножом ветви и отнимет, и отрубит отрасли.

Еще до сбора винограда, когда опадает цвет
и цветок становится зреющей гроздью,
он отрежет ножом побеги,
срежет поросль и унесет. -
Бо перед винозборами, як спаде квіт і як зелені грона почнуть достигати, він відріже ножем гіллячки і парості відітне, він їх пооббиває.

For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

Even before you begin your attack,
while your plans are ripening like grapes,
