The Mountain of the Lord

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

Храм Господний на горе. В последние дни та гора станет самой высокой изо всех гор, она будет возвышаться над всеми холмами, и все народы пойдут к той горе.

It shall come to pass in the latter days
that the mountain of the house of the Lord
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and shall be lifted up above the hills;
and all the nations shall flow to it,

Многие придут туда и скажут: "Давайте взойдём на гору Господнюю, в храм Бога Иакова, тогда Бог нас научит Своим путям, и мы последуем за Ним". Закон Господа сойдёт с Сиона, и слово Господнее придёт из Иерусалима.

and many peoples shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,a
and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

И Бог станет судить все народы, Он окончит споры многих племён. Они не будут более прибегать к оружию и перекуют мечи свои на плуги, а копья — на серпы. Народы не будут вести войны против других народов и никогда больше не будут готовиться к войне.

He shall judge between the nations,
and shall decide disputes for many peoples;
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.

Семья Иакова, приди, будем ходить во свете Господнем!

O house of Jacob,
come, let us walk
in the light of the Lord.

Я говорю это тебе, ибо ты покинула свой народ, они переняли многое у людей востока: пытаются предсказывать будущее, как филистимляне, и приняли чуждые им мысли.

The Day of the Lord

For you have rejected your people,
the house of Jacob,
because they are full of things from the east
and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines,
and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.

Твоя земля наполнилась золотом и серебром, в ней много богатств. В твоей земле много лошадей, и нет числа твоим колесницам.

Their land is filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to their treasures;
their land is filled with horses,
and there is no end to their chariots.

8

Земля твоя наполнилась идолами, и люди поклоняются делу рук своих, тому, что сами сделали!

Their land is filled with idols;
they bow down to the work of their hands,
to what their own fingers have made.

9

Всё хуже и хуже становятся люди, они унизили себя. И Ты не простишь их, о Боже!

So man is humbled,
and each one is brought low —
do not forgive them!

10

Иди и спрячься среди камней, в страхе перед Господом прячься от великой силы Его.

Enter into the rock
and hide in the dust
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty.

11

Перестанут быть гордыми гордецы и поклонятся до земли со стыдом, и один Господь будет стоять высоко.

The haughty looks of man shall be brought low,
and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

12

У Господа уготован день, когда Он будет наказывать гордецов и высокомерных, и в тот день все гордые и высокомерные будут унижены.

For the Lord of hosts has a day
against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up — and it shall be brought low;

13

Они, словно высокие кедры Ливана, словно великие дубы Васана, но Бог их накажет.

against all the cedars of Lebanon,
lofty and lifted up;
and against all the oaks of Bashan;

14

Они, словно высокие горы и высокие холмы,

against all the lofty mountains,
and against all the uplifted hills;

15

словно высокие башни и крепкие стены, но Бог их накажет.

15

against every high tower,
and against every fortified wall;

16

Те люди, словно великие корабли Фарсиса (корабли, гружёные дорогими вещами). Но Бог их накажет.

against all the ships of Tarshish,
and against all the beautiful craft.

17

Тогда они перестанут быть гордыми: кто теперь горд, тот склонится до земли, и один Господь будет стоять высоко.

And the haughtiness of man shall be humbled,
and the lofty pride of men shall be brought low,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

18

И навсегда исчезнут идолы.

18

And the idols shall utterly pass away.

19

Люди спрячутся среди скал, камней и в расселинах, в страхе перед Господом и великой силой Его, когда Господь восстанет, чтобы сокрушить землю.

19

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks
and the holes of the ground,b
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
when he rises to terrify the earth.

20

В тот день люди выбросят своих золотых и серебряных идолов (они сделали их сами и сами же им поклонялись) и бросят их в ямы, где обитают кроты и летучие мыши,

In that day mankind will cast away
their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship,
to the moles and to the bats,

21

и будут прятаться в расселинах скал, в страхе перед Господом и великой силой Его, когда Господь восстанет, чтобы сокрушить землю.

to enter the caverns of the rocks
and the clefts of the cliffs,
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
when he rises to terrify the earth.

22

Вы не должны больше доверять другим людям своё спасение, они всего лишь люди и, как все люди, смертны. Не думайте, что они сильны, как Бог.

Stop regarding man
in whose nostrils is breath,
for of what account is he?
