The Lord is Exalted
Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and that dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; when thou shalt make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Господи, мы ждали помощи Твоей, будь с нами добр, давай нам утром силы, спаси в несчастьях нас.
Jehovah, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be their arm every morning, yea, our salvation in the time of trouble.
Могучий голос Твой людей пугает, и убегают от Тебя они. Твоё величие — причина бегства народов от Тебя.
At the noise of the tumult the peoples fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
Всё, что вы добыли на войне, будет у вас отнято, придут другие и заберут вашу добычу, как приходит саранча и поедает весь урожай.
And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running of locusts shall they run upon it.
Велик Господь, обитающий на всех высотах, Он наполняет Сион Своей справедливостью и добротой.
Jehovah is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness;
Иерусалим богат мудростью и знанием Бога, спасение — твоё сокровище, ты почитаешь Господа, дающего тебе богатства, и можешь верить в своё продолжение.
and he shall be the stability of thy times, the riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah shall be your treasure.
Но послушай, как кричат на улицах глашатаи, как горько рыдают посланцы мира!
Behold, their valiant ones cry without; the messengers of peace weep bitterly.
Дороги разбиты, никто не ходит по улицам, люди нарушили договор, отказываются верить свидетелям, и никто никого не уважает.
The highways are desolate, the wayfaring man ceaseth. He hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
Земля больна и умирает, умирает Ливан, и долина Сарона суха и пустынна. В Васане и Кармеле больше не растут прекрасные растения.
The land mourneth, it languisheth; Lebanon is ashamed, is withered; the Sharon is become as a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped.
Господь говорит: "Теперь Я восстану и явлю Моё величие, теперь Я вознесусь! Теперь Я буду поднят!
Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; now will I be exalted, now will I lift up myself.
Вы, люди, творите никчёмные дела, они как сено и солома, которые ничего не стоят. Ваше дыхание будет огнём, который сожжёт вас.
Ye shall conceive dry grass, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath shall devour you [as] fire.
Люди будут гореть, пока их кости не превратятся в известь, люди сгорят быстро, словно кусты и колючки.
And the peoples shall be [as] burnings of lime, [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
Люди в далёких странах о делах Моих слышат. Вы, люди ближние, познайте силу Мою".
Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
Грешники на Сионе в испуге, нечестивые дрожат от страха, говоря: "Может ли кто-нибудь из нас выжить в этом уничтожающем огне, кто из нас может жить вблизи вечного пламени?"
The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath surprised the hypocrites: Who among us shall dwell with the consuming fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting flames?
Добрые, честные люди, которые неспособны за деньги причинять боль ближнему, выживут в этом огне. Они отказываются от взяток, закрывают уши, чтобы не слышать заговоров об убийствах, закрывают глаза, чтобы не видеть зла.
-- He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking hold of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil:

he shall dwell on high, the fortresses of the rocks shall be his high retreat; bread shall be given him, his water shall be sure.
Ваши глаза увидят Царя во всей Его красоте, вы увидите великую землю.
Thine eyes shall see the King in his beauty; they shall behold the land that is far off.
Вы будете вспоминать минувшие беды и думать: "Где люди из чужих стран, говорившие на незнакомых языках?
Thy heart shall meditate on terror: Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
Где переписчики и сборщики податей из других земель, где лазутчики, считавшие наши крепкие башни?" Все они исчезли.
Thou shalt no more see the fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst comprehend, of a stammering tongue that cannot be understood.
Взгляни на Сион, город наших священных праздников, взгляни на это прекрасное место — Иерусалим, он как шатёр непоколебимый, столпы его никогда не рухнут, верёвки никогда не порвутся.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tent that shall not be removed, the stakes whereof shall never be pulled up, neither shall any of its cords be broken;
Ибо там — Всемогущий Господь, и в земле той широкие реки, но никогда не будет на них вражеских кораблей.
but there Jehovah is unto us glorious, -- a place of rivers, of broad streams: no galley with oars shall go there, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
Потому что судья наш — Господь, наш законодатель — Господь, наш царь — Господь. Он спасает нас и даёт нам богатства.
For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah, our lawgiver, Jehovah, our king: he will save us.
Плывущие на этих кораблях могут бросить свои снасти, ваши мачты недостаточно крепки, паруса ваши полностью не распустятся. Даже хромые добудут богатства в войне.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they strengthen not the socket of their mast, they cannot spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
