Prepare the Way for the Lord
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
С Иерусалимом говорите по-доброму, возвестите, что окончилась его пора служения, он цену заплатил за все свои грехи". Господь за каждый грех воздал ему вдвойне.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins.
Послушайте вопиющего в пустыне: "Готовьте путь для Господа, дорогу в пустыне сделайте прямой для Бога нашего.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Заполните долины, разровняйте холмы и горы, выпрямите всю кривизну дорог, чтоб мягким стало твёрдое.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
И явится тогда Господняя Слава, и все её увидят. Ибо Сам Господь сказал так".
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Голос сказал: "Возвещай!" И человек спросил: "О чём мне возвещать?" Ответил голос: "Все люди, как трава, и доброта — цветы среди травы.
The Word of the Lord Stands Forever
The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

Дыхание Господнее сушит травы, и травы умирают. Так и люди.
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
Трава засохнет и цветы завянут, но слово Бога нашего пребудет вовеки".
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Сион, у тебя есть новость для всех, взойди на высокую гору и громко её прокричи. Иерусалим, хороша твоя весть, не бойся, и всем городам поведай о ней: "Смотрите, вот Бог ваш!"
Here is Your God!
O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

Господь, мой Создатель, идёт в Своей силе, которою Он управляет людьми. Он людям награду несёт, она — Его воздаяние людям.
Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
Как стадо овец ведёт за собой пастух, так Господь поведёт народ Свой и силой Своей руки всех вместе овец соберёт. Ягнят Он будет на руки брать, и матери их будут рядом.
He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
Кто пригоршнями океаны измерял, вершками кто измерил небо, кто чашею весь прах измерил, кто взвесил на весах холмы и горы? Господь!
Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
Кто указывал Господнему Духу, что Ему делать, кто учил всё сделать так, как сделал Он?
Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counseller hath taught him?
Просил ли помощи Господь, учил ли кто-нибудь Его добру и справедливости, иль мудрости и знаниям? Нет, всё Господь знал Сам.
With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
Взгляни, народы словно капли в ведре, и если б взял Господь и на весы Свои поставил все народы, они б на тех весах пылинкой были.
Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.
Ливанских кедров всех не хватит, чтоб сжечь для Господа на жертвенном огне, и всех животных не хватит, чтобы в жертву принести.
And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.
Ничто народы мира перед Ним, и ничего не стоят перед Богом.
All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
С чем Господа вы можете сравнить? Способны ли Его себе представить? Нет, и ещё раз нет.
To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
Но есть такие, кто из дерева иль камня изображение делает и богом зовёт его, они наносят позолоту, серебряные вешают цепочки.
The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.
Находят дерево, которое гниенью не поддаётся, и искусный резчик устойчивого идола творит.
He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.
Вы правду знаете, не так ли? Вы слышали, конечно же, вам было сказано давно и стало вам понятно, кто Творец земли!
Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
Господь есть Бог Единый, восседает Он наверху, над нашею орбитой, и люди словно саранча пред Ним. Он небеса распахивает, как одежду нежную, раскидывает их подобием шатра, где жить возможно.
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Правителей в ничто Он превращает, судью любого делает ненужным.
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
Они растениям подобны — в землю посажены, но только пустят корни, как дунет Бог, и высохнут они. Они умрут и ветер, как солому, их унесёт.
Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
И спрашивает Святой: "С кем вы можете Меня сравнить? Никто не равен Мне.
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
Взгляните на небо: кто все звёзды создал, небесных армий кто Творец? Кто знает по имени звезду любую? Бог истинный могуществен, и ни одна звезда не может потеряться".
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
Иаков, это истина! Израиль, ты должен верить этому. Почему считаешь, что Господь не может видеть, как ты живёшь, что не найдёт и не накажет Он тебя?
Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Конечно, знаешь ты, что мудр Господь, что знает Он, узнать не могут люди. Не устаёт и отдыха не знает Господь, всё сотворивший в самых далёких уголках земли. Господь жить будет вечно.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Господь уставшим возвращает силу, и люди только от Него крепки.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
И могут даже юноши устать, и молодой споткнуться может,
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
но верящие в Бога вновь обретают силу, как орлы, чьи перья отрастают. Такие люди бегут и не слабеют, идут и устали не знают.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
