Слово Господа пришло ко мне. Господь сказал:
Prophecy against Mount Seir
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
"Сын человеческий, взгляни на гору Сеир и скажи от лица Моего:
Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
"Так говорит Господь Бог: Сеир, Я против тебя, Я тебя накажу, сделаю необитаемой.
and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment.
Все твои города разрушу, опустошу тебя, и узнаешь, что Я — Господь.
I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be a desolation: and thou shalt know that I [am] Jehovah.
Ты всегда была против Моих людей, ты меч заносила над Израилем во времена его бед, во время его гибели".
Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword, in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
Господь Всемогущий говорит: "Жизнью Моей клянусь, что Я предам тебя смерти, она будет тебя преследовать. Ты не удерживал себя от убийства, теперь тебя будет преследовать кровь.
therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will certainly appoint thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou hast not hated blood, blood shall pursue thee.
Я превращу гору Сеир в руины, Я убью каждого, кто приходит оттуда, и каждого, кто попытается туда пойти.
And I will make mount Seir a desolation and an astonishment, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth;
Я покрою горы мёртвыми телами, они будут на всех холмах твоих и в твоих долинах, во всех ущельях.
and I will fill his mountains with his slain. In thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy water-courses shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
Я тебя опустошу навеки, в городах твоих никто не будет жить, и тогда ты поймёшь, что Я — Господь".
I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not be inhabited: and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Ты говорил: "Эти две страны (Израиль и Иудея) будут моими, мы завладеем ими". Но Господь — там, в этих странах, и Он говорит:
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it, whereas Jehovah was there:
"Вы завидовали Моим людям, вы ненавидели их и Меня. Обещаю Моей жизнью, что Я буду относиться к вам с тем же гневом, ненавистью и завистью, с какими вы относились к ним. И дам людям Моим знать, что Я с ними, когда накажу вас.
therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will even do according to thine anger and according to thine envy, as thou hast done out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge thee.
И тогда вы поймёте, что Я слышал все ваши поношения, всё, что вы сказали против гор Израиля: "Израиль уничтожен, он отдан нам на съеденье".
And thou shalt know that I Jehovah have heard all thy reproaches, which thou hast uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to devour.
Вы были полны гордыни и говорили плохо обо Мне. Я слышал каждое ваше слово, да, Я всё слышал".
And ye have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them].
Господь Всемогущий говорит: "Когда Я вас уничтожу, вся земля будет радоваться.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee a desolation.
Вы радовались, когда был уничтожен Израиль. Я теперь обойдусь с вами точно так же. Гора Сеир и вся страна Едома будут уничтожены, и тогда они узнают, что Я — Господь".
As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolated, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be a desolation, O mount Seir, and all Edom, the whole of it: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
