The Seventh Year
At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.

Вот как ты должен это делать: всякий, кто одолжил деньги другому израильтянину, пусть простит ему этот долг, пусть не требует у собрата (израильтянина) возвратить долг, ибо Господь приказал в том году прощать долги.
And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD'S release.
У чужестранца можешь требовать, чтобы он возвратил долг, но прощай собрату (израильтянину) то, что он тебе должен.
Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
Пусть не будет у тебя в стране бедных, ибо Господь даёт тебе эту землю и благословит тебя многократно,
Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
но это случится только, если ты будешь повиноваться Господу, Богу своему. Смотри, соблюдай все заповеди, которые я тебе даю сегодня,
Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
и тогда Господь, Бог твой, благословит тебя, как обещал, и у тебя будет достаточно денег, чтобы давать взаймы многим народам, тебе же ни у кого не придётся одалживать. Ты будешь господствовать над многими народами, но ни один из этих народов не будет господствовать над тобой.
For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
И когда будешь жить на земле, которую даёт тебе Господь, Бог твой, среди твоего народа может появиться бедняк. Не будь себялюбцем, не отказывай этому бедняку в помощи,
Generosity in Lending and Giving
If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
Никогда никому не отказывай в помощи только из-за того, что приближается седьмой год, год прощения долгов, пусть эта беззаконная мысль тебе даже в голову не приходит. Никогда не думай плохо о том, кто нуждается в помощи, и не отказывайся помочь ему, ибо если не поможешь тому бедняку, то он пожалуется на тебя Господу, и Господь найдёт тебя виновным в грехе.
Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
Дай бедному всё, что можешь, и не сожалей, что даёшь ему, ибо Господь, Бог твой, благословит тебя за сделанное добро, благословит все твои труды и всё, что ты делаешь.
Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
На этой земле всегда будут бедные, и потому я заповедаю тебе помогать собрату твоему и давать нуждающимся в помощи беднякам твоей земли".
For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
"Если купишь раба-иудея или рабыню-иудейку, то держи их в рабстве шесть лет, на седьмой же год освободи этого человека.
Release of Hebrew Servants
And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.

А когда освободишь раба, не отсылай его с пустыми руками,
And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
дай тому человеку часть своего скота, зерна и вина, ибо, как Господь, Бог твой, благословил тебя и дал тебе всякого добра в изобилии, так и ты дай своему рабу всякого добра в изобилии.
Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
Помни, что когда ты был рабом в Египте, Господь, Бог твой, освободил тебя, потому и я сегодня даю тебе эту заповедь.
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
Если же кто из рабов скажет тебе: "Не уйду от тебя", сказав это из любви к тебе и к твоей семье, ибо ему у тебя хорошо живётся,
And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
то пусть раб приложит ухо к притолоке, а ты проколи ему ухо шилом в знак того, что он твой раб навеки, и поступай так же с рабынями, которые захотят с тобой остаться.
Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
Не сожалей о том, что отпустил своего раба, помни, что он шесть лет служил тебе за половину того, что ты заплатил бы наёмному работнику, и Господь, Бог твой, благословит тебя во всём, что ты делаешь".
It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
"Всех первенцев мужского пола, рождённых твоим крупным и мелким скотом, отдавай Господу, не используй этот скот в работе и не стриги шерсть с таких овец.
Firstborn Animals
All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.

Каждый год доставляй этот скот на место, которое выберет Господь, Бог твой, и там съедай этот скот перед Господом, ты и семья твоя.
Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household.
Если же у той скотины есть изъян, если она хромая, или слепая, или с каким-то другим изъяном, не приноси эту скотину в жертву Господу, Богу твоему.
And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.
Можешь съесть мясо этой скотины дома, и все могут есть его, чистый и нечистый, закон об этом тот же, что и о серне и олене.
Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
