Huschai sagte zu Abschalom: Nein, ich gehöre vielmehr zu dem, den der HERR und dieses Volk und alle Israeliten erwählt haben; bei ihm will ich bleiben.

Husai aber sprach zu Absalom: Nicht also, sondern welchen der HERR erwählt und dies Volk und alle Männer in Israel, des will ich sein und bei ihm bleiben.

Huschai antwortete: »Ich stehe zu dem König, den der HERR und sein Volk auserwählt haben! Der und kein anderer ist mein Herr!
