Die Stangen waren so lang, dass man ihre Spitzen im Heiligtum vor dem hochheiligen Ort sehen konnte; draußen aber waren sie nicht zu sehen. Sie blieben dort bis zum heutigen Tag.

Und die Stangen waren so lang, daß ihre Knäufe gesehen wurden in dem Heiligtum vor dem Chor, aber außen wurden sie nicht gesehen, und waren daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.

Die beiden Stangen waren so lang, dass man sie vom Heiligtum aus sehen konnte, wenn man direkt vor dem Allerheiligsten stand. Doch vom Vorhof aus sah man sie nicht. Noch heute befindet sich die Bundeslade an diesem Ort.
