Gleichwie der Regenbogen steht in den Wolken, wenn es geregnet hat, also glänzte es um und um. Dies war das Ansehen der Herrlichkeit des HERRN. Und da ich’s gesehen hatte, fiel ich auf mein Angesicht und hörte einen reden.

In dem Licht konnte ich alle Farben des Regenbogens entdecken. Es war die Erscheinung des HERRN in seiner Herrlichkeit. Bei ihrem Anblick fiel ich nieder und berührte mit meinem Gesicht den Boden. Dann hörte ich eine Stimme.

Wie das Aussehen des Regenbogens, der sich an einem Regentag in den Wolken zeigt, so war das Aussehen des strahlenden Glanzes ringsum. Das war das Aussehen der Gestalt der Herrlichkeit des HERRN. Und ich schaute und ich fiel nieder auf mein Angesicht. SENDUNG EZECHIELS: 1,28 — 3,15 Da hörte ich die Stimme eines Redenden.
