But the king said, “What does this have to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the Lord said to him, ‘Curse David,’ who can ask, ‘Why do you do this?’ ”

And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?

Doch der König antwortete: Was habe ich mit euch zu schaffen, ihr Söhne der Zeruja? Wenn er flucht und wenn der HERR ihm gesagt hat: Verfluch David!, wer darf dann fragen: Warum tust du das?
