Бо ти, Боже, моя твердиня. Чому мене відкинув? Чому смутний ходжу я, ворогом прибитий?
For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Пошли світло твоє і твою правду: вони нехай мене ведуть заберуть на святу гору твою й до твоїх наметів.
O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
І я прийду до жертовника Бога, до Бога радости й веселости моєї, і прославлятиму тебе на гуслах, Боже, мій Боже!
