Другий жереб випав Симеонові, тобто колінові синів Симеона за їхніми родами. Їхній наділ був серед спадщини синів Юди.

Simeon's Territory

And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

В наділі їх були: Версавія, Шева, Молада,

And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

Хацар-Шуал, Бала, Ецем,

3

and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

4

Елтолад, Бетул, Хорма,

4

and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5

Ціклаг, Бет-Маркавот, Хацар-Суса,

5

and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

6

Бет-Леваот, Шарухен: тринадцять міст із їхніми селами.

and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;

7

Аїн, Ріммон, Етер, Ашан: чотири міста з їхніми селами,

7

Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;

8

і всі села навкруги цих міст аж до Ваалат-Беру до Рамат-Негеву. Це було спадкоємство синів Симеона за їхніми родинами.

and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

Від наділу синів Юди взято наділ синів Симеона, бо наділ синів Юди був для них занадто великий, тому й одержали сини Симеона спадщину серед їхньої спадщини.

Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.

Третій жереб вийшов для синів Завулона, за їх родами. Границя їх уділу доходила до Саріду.

Zebulun's Territory

And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;

11

Далі здіймалась їхня границя на захід, до Марали, торкалась Дебешету й потоку, що проти Йокнеаму.

and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;

12

Потім повертала від Саріду на схід сонця до границі з Кіслот-Табором, виходила на Даврат і здіймалась на Яфію;

12

and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;

13

звідтіль проходила на схід у напрямку Гат-Хеферу до Ет-Каціну, виходила на Ріммон-Метоар до Неа.

and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;

14

Тоді загинала коло нього на північ на Ханнатон і кінчалась у Іфтах-Ел-долині.

and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...

15

Каттат, Нагалал, Шімрон, Їдала та Бет-Легем: дванадцять міст з їхніми селами.

and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.

Це було спадкоємство синів Завулона за їхніми родами, ці міста з їхніми селами.

16

This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

17

Четвертий жереб вийшов для Іссахара, синів Іссахара за їхніми родами.

Issachar's Territory

The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

18

До їхнього наділу належали: Єзреел, Кесулот, Шунем,

And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19

Хафараїм, Шіон, Анахрат,

19

and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

20

Рабіт, Кішіон, Авец,

20

and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,

21

Ремет, Ен-Ганнім, Ен-Хадда і Бет-Пацец.

21

and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

22

Границя торкалась Тавору, Шахціми, Бет-Шемешу й кінчалась при Йордані: шістнадцять міст з їхніми селами.

22

and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.

23

Це спадщина коліна синів Іссахара за їхніми родами, міста з їхніми селами.

23

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

П'ятий жереб випав для коліна синів Ашера за їхніми родами.

Asher's Territory

And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

25

До їхнього наділу належали: Хелкат, Халі, Бетен, Ахшаф,

25

And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,

26

Аламмелех, Амад, Мішал, границя їхня доходила до Кармелю на заході й до Шіхор-Лівнату.

26

and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,

27

Далі повертала на схід сонця до Бет-Дагону, торкалася Завулона й Іфтах-Ел-долини на півночі; йшла до Бет-Емеку і на Неієл і виходила до Кавулу, з лівого боку,

and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,

28

на Еврон, Рехов, Хаммон і Кану аж до Великого Сидону.

28

and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;

29

Тоді повертала до Рами й аж до укріпленого міста Тиру; звідтіль загинала на Хосу й кінчалась над морем, від Хелеву до Ахзіву, —

29

and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;

30

Умма, Афек і Рехов: двадцять два міста з їхніми селами.

30

and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.

31

Таке було спадкоємство коліна синів Ашера за їхніми родами, оці міста з їхніми селами.

31

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

32

Для синів Нафталі випав шостий жереб, за різними родами синів Нафталі.

Naphtali's Territory

The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

33

Границя їхня йшла від Хелефа, від Елон-Бецаананніму, Адамі-Некеву та Явнеелу до Лаккума й кінчилась при Йордані;

33

And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;

34

повертала на захід до Азнот-Тавору, а звідси виходила на Хукок і стикалась на півдні з Завулоном, на заході з Ашером і з Юдою коло Йордану на схід сонця.

and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.

35

Укріплені міста були: Ціддім, Цер, Хаммат, Раккат, Кіннерет,

And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

36

Адама, Рама, Хацор,

36

and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

37

Кадеш, Едреї, Ен-Хацор,

37

and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

38

Ірон, Мігдал-Ел, Хорем Бет-Анат, Бет-Шемеш: дев'ятнадцять міст з їхніми селами.

38

and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.

39

Таке було спадкоємство коліна синів Нафталі за їхніми родами, міста з їхніми селами.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

40

Для коліна синів Дана випав жереб сьомий, за їхніми родами.

40

Dan's Territory

The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

41

Границя їх наділу була: Цора, Ештаол, Ір-Шемеш,

And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

42

Шаалабін, Аялон, Ітла,

42

and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,

43

Елон, Тімна, Екрон,

43

and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,

44

Елтеке, Гіббетон, Ваалат,

44

and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45

Єгуд, Бне-Берак, Гат-Ріммон,

45

and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,

46

Ме-Яркон, Раккон з округою, що проти Яфо.

46

and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.

47

Але наділ синів Дана був занадто тісний для них. Тому й рушили сини Дана війною на Лешем, здобули його, побили лезом меча й, зайнявши його, осілись у ньому й назвали Лешем-Дан, за іменем предка свого Дана.

And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

Таке спадкоємство коліна синів Дана за їхніми родами: ці міста з їхніми селами.

48

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

49

Як же скінчили сини Ізраїля поділ землі на наділи, то дали серед себе частину у спадщину Ісусові Навинові.

Joshua's Inheritance

And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.

50

Вони йому дали за Господнім велінням місто, яке він побажав, тобто Тімнат-Серах на Ефраїм-горах. Відбудував він його й осівсь у ньому.

According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.

51

Це ті наділи, що їх поділили жеребом священик Єлеазар, Ісус Навин та голови родин колін Ізраїля, в Шіло, перед Господом, при вході в шатро зборів. Так закінчили вони поділ краю.

These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.
