Спитали філістимляни: “Хто то зробив?” Відказали їм: “Самсон, зять Тімнатія, бо той забрав у нього жінку й віддав її одному з бояр.” Кинулись тоді філістимляни та й спалили її разом з батьківською хатою.

Як же Филистії питали: Хто се зробив? відказувано: Самсон, зять Тимнатїїв, бо він одняв у нього жінку та й оддав його бояринові. Кинулись тодї Филистії та й спалили її вкупі з батьком її. -
І сказали филистимляни: „Хто́ це зробив?“ А їм відказали: „Самсон, зять тімнеянина, бо він забрав його жінку й віддав її дружко́ві його“. І пішли филистимляни, та й спалили огнем її та батька її.

А филистимці запитали: Хто зробив це? І відповіли: Самсон, зять Тамнатея, оскільки той взяв його жінку і дав її його другові! Тож филистимці прийшли, спалили вогнем хату її батька, її саму та її батька.

И говорили Филистимляне: кто это сделал? И сказали: Самсон, зять Фимнафянина, ибо этот взял жену его и отдал другу его. И пошли Филистимляне и сожгли огнём её и отца её.

Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
