І от на початку середньої чати, коли щойно були змінили варту, продістався Гедеон із сотнею своєю до краю табору, і засурмили вони й порозбивали глечики, що були в руках їхніх.

І прийшов Гедеон та сотня мужів, що з ним, до кра́ю табо́ру, на початку середньої сторо́жі, коли тільки но поставили сторо́жу. І засурми́ли вони в су́рми, і побили гле́ки, що в їхніх руках.

Тож Ґедеон і з ним сто мужів увійшли на територію табору, коли починалася північна сторожа. Вони таки дійсно сполохали [1] вартових, затрубили в роги і скинули глечики, що в їхніх руках.

И подошёл Гедеон и сто человек с ним к стану, в начале средней стражи, и разбудили стражей, и затрубили трубами и разбили кувшины, которые были в руках их.

So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.
