І принесли вони Евостеєву голову Давидові в Геброн, та й промовили до царя: Ось тобі голова Евостеєва Сауленкова, ворога твого, що хотїв згубити з сьвіту тебе; Господь же тепер помстився за пана мого, царя, на Саулї й на потомках його.

та й принесли голову Ішбаала Давидові в Хеврон і промовили до царя: “Отут голова Ішбаала, сина Саула, ворога твого, що чигав на твоє життя. Господь дав сьогодні моєму володареві цареві помститися на Саулові та його потомках.”

І прине́сли вони Іш-Бошетову голову до Давида в Хевро́н, та й сказали царе́ві: „Оце голова́ Іш-Бошета, Саулового сина, твого ворога, що шукав був твоєї душі. І дав Господь цього дня панові моє́му, цареві, пімсту над Саулом та над насінням його“.

Вони принесли голову Мемфівостея Давидові в Хеврон і промовили до царя: Ось голова Мемфівостея, сина Саула, твого ворога, який шукав твоєї душі, і Господь дав володареві-царю помсту над твоїми ворогами в цей день, — над Саулом, твоїм ворогом, і його потомством!
