І нехай Господь оберне кров його на його голову, бо він убив двох таких, що були безвинні й лучші його, а мій отець Давид і не знав про те, Абенира Ниренка, гетьмана Ізрайлевого та Амессу Етеренка, гетьмана Юдиного.

Господь оберне його кров на його голову, бо він убив двох мужів, справедливіших і ліпших від себе; він стратив їх мечем: Авнера, сина Нера, начальника військ Ізраїля, й Амаса, сина Їтра, начальника військ Юди, так, що батько мій Давид і не знав про те.

І нехай оберне Господь його кров на його голову, що він ура́зив був двох мужів справедливих та ліпших від нього, і повбивав їх мече́м, а батько мій Давид того не знав: Авнера, Нериного сина, провідника́ Ізраїлевого війська, та Амасу, сина Єтеревого, провідника́ Юдиного війська.

І повернув Господь кров його несправедливості на його ж голову, коли він зустрів двох праведних мужів, кращих за себе, і вбив їх мечем, а мій батько Давид не знав про їхню кров — Авенира, сина Нира, полководця Ізраїля, і Амесси, сина Єтера, полководця Юди.

да обратит Господь кровь его на голову его за то, что он убил двух мужей невинных и лучших его: поразил мечом, без ведома отца моего Давида, Авенира, сына Нирова, военачальника Израильского, и Амессая, сына Иеферова, военачальника Иудейского;

And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing thereof, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.

The Lord will repay him for the blood he shed, because without my father David knowing it he attacked two men and killed them with the sword. Both of them — Abner son of Ner, commander of Israel’s army, and Amasa son of Jether, commander of Judah’s army — were better men and more upright than he. -
