Ті, що роблять боги — всї вони ледачі; а найлюбійші їм не приносять нїякої користї; на се вони самі собі сьвідками. Вони нїчого не бачать і не розуміють, тим то вони й осоромляться.

Вони — ніщо, всі ті, що роблять бовванів: найлюбіші з них не дають жадної користи. Ті, що їм служать, не бачать і не розуміють нічого, тим і окриються соромом.

Всі, що роблять бовва́нів, — марно́та вони, і їхні улю́бленці не помагають, а сві́дками того самі́: не бачать вони та не знають, щоб застида́тись!
