Бачив я Господа, над жертівником стоячого, й звелїв він: Удар по главневі в воріт, щоб аж одвірки захитались, і повали їх усїм їм на голови, а тих, що з них зостануться, я мечем повбиваю: не втече з них нїхто, що буде втїкати, й не врятується нїхто, що схоче врятуватись.

Я бачив Господа, що стояв при жертовнику. І він мовив: «Удар по главнях, щоб аж одвірки захитались! Я всім їм голови порозбиваю, а тих з них, що зостануться, мечем повбиваю; ані один з них не втече, ані один з них не спасеться.

Я бачив Господа, що стояв над же́ртівником, і Він сказав: Удар но по ма́ковиці цих воріт, щоб затрясли́ся поро́ги, і порозбивай їх на всіх їхніх го́ловах, а їхній останок заб'ю́ Я мечем. Не втече їм втіка́ч, і гоне́ць не врятується в них!

I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. -

Then I saw a vision of the Lord standing beside the altar. He said,
“Strike the tops of the Temple columns,
so that the foundation will shake.
Bring down the roof
on the heads of the people below.
I will kill with the sword those who survive.
No one will escape!
