Ось бо, настане день, палаючий, як піч; тодї всї горді й безбожні будуть, неначе солома, й спалить їх той день, що настане, так що не зоставить із них нї кореня нї галузя.

Бо ось наступає той день, що пала́є, як піч, і стануть всі пи́шні та кожен, хто чинить безбо́жне, соломою, — і спа́лить їх день той, який наступа́є, говорить Госпо́дь Савао́т, Який не позоста́вить їм ко́реня, ані галу́зки.

Ибо вот, придёт день, пылающий как печь; тогда все надменные и поступающие нечестиво будут как солома, и попалит их грядущий день, говорит Господь Саваоф, так что не оставит у них ни корня, ни ветвей.

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. -

“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. -
