Тодї озвались ті пять мужів, що ходили в Лаіс, щоб розгледїти землю, і сказали своїм братам: Чи знаєте, що в сьому хуторі є ефод і терафим, та вирізуваний і виливаний ідол? Зміркуйте ж оце, що маєте дїяти.

Тоді озвались ті п'ятеро мужів, що ходили в Лаїш на розвідини землі, й сказали своїм братам: “Чи знаєте, що в цих хатах є ефод і терафи та різьблений і литий бовван? Зміркуйте ж оце, що маєте робити!”

І відповіли п'ятеро тих мужів, що ходили ви́відати той Край до Лаїшу, і сказали своїм бра́ттям: „Чи ви знаєте, що в цих домах є ефо́д та тера́фи, і бовва́н рі́зьблений та бовван литий? А тепер знайте, що́ зробите“.

І п’ять мужів, які ходили обстежувати землю, принесли відповідь і сказали своїм братам: Чи знаєте, що в цих домах є ефод, терафін, коване і вилите? І тепер знайте, що вчините.

Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do. -

The five men who had scouted out the land around Laish explained to the others, “These buildings contain a sacred ephod, as well as some household idols, a carved image, and a cast idol. What do you think you should do?”
