Тож Ноемінь і її невістка Рут, моавійка, повернулися, повертаючись з поля Моава, вони прибули до Вифлеєма на початку жнив ячменю.

И возвратилась Ноеминь, и с нею сноха её Руфь Моавитянка, пришедшая с полей Моавитских, и пришли они в Вифлеем в начале жатвы ячменя.
