А ось увесь рід устав на невільницю твою та й кажуть: Видай убійника свого брата, і ми вб'ємо його за душу його брата, якого він убив, і вигубимо також спадкоє́мця. І пога́сять вони останню і́скру мою, яка позоста́лася, щоб не лишити моє́му чоловікові ані йме́ння, ані наща́дків на поверхні землі“.

І оце ввесь рід повстав проти твоєї слугині й каже: Видай братовбивника, ми хочемо його вбити за душу його брата, що він убив. Та й навіть спадкоємця його викорінимо. Хочуть вони погасити й ту іскорку, що зосталась мені, щоб по моєму чоловікові не зосталось ні імени, ні потомків на поверхні землі.”

І се вся рідня піднялась проти твоєї служебки та й домагаєсь: Видай нам братогубника, ми вбємо його за братню душу, що він згубив, і наслїдника його викоренимо! Так вони завзялись ізгасити й останню искорку, що менї зісталась, щоб мойму чоловікові нї ймення нї потомків на землї не зоставити. -
І ось весь рід повстав проти твоєї рабині, і вони сказали: Дай того, хто вбив свого брата, і вб’ємо його за душу його брата, якого він убив! Заберемо і вашого спадкоємця! І загасять моє вугілля, яке залишилося, так що не залишиться останку та імені моєму чоловікові на поверхні землі!

И вот, восстало всё родство на рабу твою, и говорят: «отдай убийцу брата своего; мы убьём его за душу брата его, которую он погубил, и истребим даже наследника». И так они погасят остальную искру мою, чтобы не оставить мужу моему имени и потомства на лице земли.

And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
