Divisions of the Gatekeepers
As for the divisions of the gatekeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

А в Мешелемії сини: перворо́джений — Захарій, другий — Єдіаїл, третій — Зевадія, четвертий — Ятніїл,
And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
п'ятий — Елам, шостий — Єгоханан, сьомий — Ел'єгоенай.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
А в Овед-Едома сини: перворо́джений — Шемая, другий — Єгозавад, третій — Йоах, четвертий — Сахар, і п'ятий — Натанаїл,
And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,
шо́стий — Амміїл, сьо́мий — Іссахар, во́сьмий — Пеуллетай, бо поблагословив його Бог.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God blessed him.
У сина його Шемаї народи́лися сини, що панували над домом їхнього батька, бо вони — хоробрі вояки́.
Also to his son Shemaiah were sons born who were rulers in their fathers’ houses, for they were men of great ability.
Сини Шемаї: Отні, і Рефаїл, і Овед, Елзавад; його брати, мужі хоробрі, — Елігу та Шемахія.
The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad, whose brothers were able men, Elihu and Semachiah.
Усі ці — з Оведових сині́в; вони й сини та брати їхні — кожен хоробрий муж у силі до праці, шістдеся́т і два для Овед-Едома.
All these were of the sons of Obed-edom with their sons and brothers, able men qualified for the service; sixty-two of Obed-edom.
А в Мешелемії було синів та братів, мужів хоробрих, вісімнадцять.
And Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, able men, eighteen.
А в Хоси, з синів Мерарі, сини: голова — Шімрі, бо хоч не був він перворо́джений, та батько його настановив його за голову:
And Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the firstborn, his father made him chief),
другий — Хілкійя, третій — Тевалія, четвертий Захарій; усіх синів та братів у Хоси — тринадцять.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen.
У цих були че́рги придве́рних, за головами мужчин, че́рги відповідно до їхніх братів на слу́ження в Господньому домі.
These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their chief men, had duties, just as their brothers did, ministering in the house of the Lord.
І кинули вони жеребки́, як малий, так і великий, за домом їхніх батьків, для кожної брами.
And they cast lots by fathers’ houses, small and great alike, for their gates.
І впав жеребо́к на схід для Шелемії. І кинули жеребки́ для сина його Захарія, мудрого дорадника, і вийшов жеребок його на пі́вніч,
The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for his son Zechariah, a shrewd counselor, and his lot came out for the north.
для Овед-Едома, — на пі́вдень, а для синів його — комо́ри.
Obed-edom’s came out for the south, and to his sons was allotted the gatehouse.
Для Шуппіма та для Хоси — на за́хід, ра́зом із брамою Шаллехет, де підійма́ється битий шлях, ва́рта навпроти ва́рти.
For Shuppim and Hosah it came out for the west, at the gate of Shallecheth on the road that goes up. Watch corresponded to watch.
На схід — шість Левитів, на північ — четверо на день, на пі́вдень — четверо на день, а для комори — по двоє.
Для Парбару на за́хід — четверо для битого шля́ху, двоє для Парбару.
Оце че́рги придве́рних із синів Корахівців та з синів Мерарі.
These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the sons of Merari.
А Левити: Ахійя був над ска́рбами Божого дому та до скарбів святині.
Treasurers and Other Officials
And of the Levites, Ahijah had charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated gifts.

Сини Ладана, сини Ґершонівців, від Ладана, голови дому батьків, від Ладана Ґершонівця: Єхилі.

The sons of Jehieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the Lord.

Шевуїл, син Ґершома, сина Мойсея, — володар над скарбами.
and Shebuel the son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief officer in charge of the treasuries.
А брати його від Еліезера: його син — Рехавія, і його син Ісая, і його син — Йорам, і його син — Зіхрі, і його син — Шеломіт.
His brothers: from Eliezer were his son Rehabiah, and his son Jeshaiah, and his son Joram, and his son Zichri, and his son Shelomoth.
Цей Шеломіт та брати його були над усіма́ ска́рбами святині, які посвятив цар Давид та голови дому батьків, і тисячники, і сотники та зверхники війська, —
This Shelomoth and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries of the dedicated gifts that David the king and the heads of the fathers’ houses and the officers of the thousands and the hundreds and the commanders of the army had dedicated.
з во́єн та зо здо́бичі вони присвячували на підтри́мання Господнього дому, —
From spoil won in battles they dedicated gifts for the maintenance of the house of the Lord.
і все, що посвятив прозорли́вець Самуїл, і Саул, син Кішів, і Авнер, син Нерів, і Йоав, син Церуїн, — усе посвячене було в руці Шеломіта та братів його.
Від Їцгарівців: Кенанія та сини його — на зо́внішню роботу над Ізраїлем, на писарі́в та на су́ддів.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to external duties for Israel, as officers and judges.
Від Хевронівців: Хашавія та брати його, мужі хоробрі, тисяча й сім сотень, — над пере́глядом Ізраїля з другого боку Йорда́ну на за́хід, для всякої Господньої праці та для роботи царсько́ї.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, 1,700 men of ability, had the oversight of Israel westward of the Jordan for all the work of the Lord and for the service of the king.
Від Хевронівців: Єрійя — голова для Хевронівця, для його наща́дків, за домом батьків. У сороковому році Давидового царюва́ння вони були досліджені, і серед них зна́йдено хоробрих мужів в гілеадському Язері.
Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was chief of the Hebronites of whatever genealogy or fathers’ houses. (In the fortieth year of David’s reign search was made and men of great ability among them were found at Jazer in Gilead.)
А брати його — мужі хоробрі, дві тисячі й сім сотень, го́лови дому батьків. І цар Давид настанови́в їх над Руви́мівцями і над Ґадівцями та над половиною племени Манасіїного для всякої Божої справи та справи царсько́ї.
King David appointed him and his brothers, 2,700 men of ability, heads of fathers’ houses, to have the oversight of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of the Manassites for everything pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
