Доки, Господи, бу́деш мене забувати наза́вжди, доки будеш ховати від ме́не обличчя Своє?
They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak.
Як довго я буду складати в душі своїй болі, у серці своїм — щодня сму́ток? Як довго мій ворог підно́ситись буде над мене?
Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things,
Зглянься, озвися до мене, о Господи, Боже мій! Просвітли мої очі, щоб на смерть не заснув я!
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who [is] lord over us?
Щоб мій не́приятель не сказав: „Я його переміг!“ Щоб мої вороги не раділи, як я захита́юсь!
Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in safety, at whom they puff.
