Psalm 19^a

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

В день недолі озве́ться до тебе Госпо́дь, Ім'я́ Бога Якового зробить си́льним тебе!

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.

Він пошле тобі по́міч із святині, і з Сіону тебе підіпре́!

They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.

Усі жертви твої пам'ятати Він буде, і буде вважати твоє цілопа́лення ситим. Се́ла.

Yet their voiceb goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

Він дасть тобі, як твоє серце бажає, і ви́повнить ці́лий твій за́дум!

It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

Ми бу́дем радіти спасі́нням Твоїм, і піді́ймемо пра́пор в Ім'я́ Бога нашого, — нехай Господь виконає всі проха́ння твої!

It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Тепер я пізнав, що спасає Господь помаза́нця Свого́, дає йому ві́дповідь з неба святого Свого́ могу́тніми чи́нами помічно́ї прави́ці Своєї.

The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.

Одні колесни́цями хва́ляться, а інші кі́ньми, а ми бу́дем хвалитись Ім'я́м Господа, нашого Бога:

The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.

вони похилились і впали, а ми стоїмо́ та росте́мо на силах!

The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.

Господи, спаси! Хай озве́ться нам Цар у день нашого кли́кання!

They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
