Restrictions against the Unclean
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
„Промовляй до Аарона й до синів його, і нехай вони обере́жно поводяться зо святощами Ізраїлевих синів, які вони посвячують Мені, і нехай не безчестять Мого святого Ймення. Я — Господь!
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
Скажи їм: На ваші покоління кожен чоловік, що набли́зиться зо всякого вашого насіння до святощів, які Ізраїлеві сини посвятять Господе́ві, а нечистість його на нім, то буде винищена душа та з-перед лиця Мого. Я — Господь!
Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
Кожен чоловік з Ааро́нового насіння, коли він прокаже́ний або течи́вий, не буде їсти зо святощів, аж поки очиститься. А хто доторкнеться всякого нечистого від мертвого тіла, або чоловік, що з нього вийде насіння лежа́ння,
What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
або хто доторкнеться до всякого плазуна́, через якого він стане нечистий, або до людини́, через яку стане нечистий, через усяку нечистість її, —
Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
особа, що доторкнеться до того, то стане нечиста аж до вечора, і не буде їсти зо святощів, поки не обмиє свого тіла в воді.
Instructions for Cleansing
The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.

А коли за́йде сонце, то стане він чистий, а потім буде їсти зо святощів, бо це хліб його.
And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
Па́дла та розша́рпаного не буде він їсти, щоб не занечиститись ним. Я — Господь!
That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.
І будуть вони стерегти́ Мої при́кази, — щоб не понести через те гріха́ на собі, і щоб не померти через нього, коли б збезче́стили їх. Я — Господь, що освячує їх!
They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.
А кожен чужий не буде їсти святощів; осілий у священика й на́ймит не будуть їсти святощів.
There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
А коли священик купить чоловіка, — купівля срібла його це, — той буде їсти їх, також уро́джений дому його, — вони будуть їсти його хліб.
But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.
А священикова дочка́, коли буде видана чужому чоловікові, вона не буде їсти принесених святощів.
If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
А священикова дочка́, коли буде вдова, або розве́дена, а дітей не має, і ве́рнеться до дому свого батька, — як за мо́лодости своєї, буде їсти з хліба ба́тька свого. А кожен чужий не буде їсти його.
But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
А чоловік, коли з'їсть святощі через по́милку, то докладе до неї п'яту частину її, і віддасть священикові ті святощі,
And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.
і священики не збезчестять святощів Ізра́їлевих синів, що вони приносять Господе́ві,
And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;
і не стягнуть на себе вини за провину їдження своїх святощів. Бо Я — Господь, що освячує їх“.
Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
I промовляв Господь до Мойсея, говорячи:
Worthy Offerings
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
„Промовляй до Ааро́на й до синів його, та до всіх Ізраїлевих синів, і скажеш їм: Кожен чоловік з Ізраїлевого дому та з прихо́дька між Ізраїлем, що принесе свою жертву за всякими своїми обі́тницями та за всякими дарува́ннями своїми, що принесе Господе́ві на цілопа́лення,
Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
то нехай принесе на вподобання ваше безвадного самця́ з худоби великої, з овець і з кіз.
Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
Жодного, що в нім вада, не принесете, бо не буде воно на вподо́бання вас.
But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
А чоловік, коли принесе Господе́ві мирну жертву на виразно ви́словлену обі́тницю або на дарунок, із худоби великої чи з худоби дрібної, — безвадна буде на вподо́бання, жодна вада не буде в ній:
And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
сліпа, або зла́мана, або скалічена, або шолуди́ва, або коро́стява, або паршива, — не принесете тих Господеві, і жертви огняно́ї не дасте з них на жертівника для Господа.
Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.
А вола та вівцю з занадто довгим чи занадто коротким яким членом добровільно принесеш у жертву, а на обі́тницю вони не вгодні Богові.
Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
А того, що має ядра розчавлені, чи збиті, чи відірвані, чи відрізані, — не піднесете Господе́ві, і в вашому Кра́ї не зробите того.
Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
І з руки чужи́нця не принесете хліба нашого Бога зо всіх таких, бо в них зіпсуття їх, вада в них, — вони не будуть вгодні для вас“.
Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
„Віл, або вівця, або коза, коли вродиться, то буде сім день під своєю матір'ю, а від дня во́сьмого й далі буде вгодне на жертву огняну́ для Господа.
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
А корови та вівці, — її й маля́ її не заріжете одно́го дня.
And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
А коли будете прино́сити вдячну жертву для Господа, то приносьте так, щоб вона була вгодна.
And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.
Того дня буде вона з'їджена, — не зоставите з неї аж до ра́нку. Я — Господь!
On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.
І заповіді Мої будете додержувати, і будете виконувати їх. Я — Господь!
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
І не будете безчестити Мого святого Ймення, і Я буду освячений серед Ізраїлевих синів. Я — Господь, що освячує вас,
Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
