Duties of Priests and Levites
And Jehovah said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
And Jehovah said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
А також ти набли́зиш до себе братів своїх, пле́м'я Левіїне, пле́м'я батька свого, і вони злу́чаться з тобою, і будуть прислужувати тобі, а ти й сини твої з тобою будете перед скинією свідоцтва.
And thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, that they may unite with thee, and minister unto thee; but thou and thy sons with thee [shall serve] before the tent of the testimony.
І бу́дуть вони виконувати твою сторо́жу та сторо́жу всієї скинії, — тільки до речей святині та до же́ртівника не приступлять, щоб не повмирали як вони, так і ви.
And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of the whole tent: only they shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they may not die, and you as well as they.
І злу́чаться вони з тобою, і будуть виконувати сторожу скинії заповіту, для всякої служби в скинії, а чужий не присту́пить до вас.
And they shall unite with thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and no stranger shall come near to you.
І будете ви виконувати сторожу святині та сторожу жертівника, щоб не було́ вже гніву на Ізраїлевих синів.
And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there come no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
А Я оце взяв ваших братів Левитів з-посеред Ізраїлевих синів для вас, як дар вони дані Господе́ві, щоб виконувати службу скинії заповіту.
And I, behold, I have taken your brethren, the Levites, from among the children of Israel; to you are they given as a gift for Jehovah to perform the service of the tent of meeting.
А ти та сини твої з тобою бу́дете допильно́вувати ваше свяще́нство для всякої речі жертівника та для того, що поза заві́сою, і будете робити. Як службу да́ру даю Я свяще́нство вам, а чужий, хто приступить, буде забитий“.
But thou and thy sons with thee shall attend to your priesthood for all that concerneth the altar, and for that which is inside the veil; and ye shall perform the service: I give you your priesthood as a service of gift, and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
І Господь промовляв до Аарона: „Я оце доручив тобі пильнувати за прино́шеннями Моїми. Від усього посвяченого синами Ізраїлевими Я дав частку тобі та для синів твоїх на вічну постано́ву.
The Priests' Portion
And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to thee have I given them, because of the anointing, and to thy sons by an everlasting statute.

Оце буде тобі з найсвятіших жертов, без огню: кожна їхня хлі́бна жертва, і кожна їхня жертва за гріх, і кожна їхня жертва за провину, що звернуть Мені як найсвятіше, — тобі це та для твоїх синів!
This shall be thine of the most holy things, [reserved] from the fire: every offering of theirs, of all their oblations, and of all their sin-offerings, and of all their trespass-offerings, which they render unto me, it is most holy for thee and for thy sons.
На найсвятішому місці бу́деш ти їсти оце. Кожен чоловічої статі буде їсти, — це буде святість для тебе.
As most holy shalt thou eat it: every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.
А це тобі прино́шення їхнього да́ру всіх колиха́нь Ізраїлевих синів, — Я дав їх тобі, і синам твоїм та дочка́м твоїм з тобою на вічну постанову, — кожен чистий у твоїм домі буде це їсти.
And this shall be thine: the heave-offering of their gift, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
Усе найкраще зо свіжої оливи, і все найкраще з молодого вина та збіжжя, їхні первопло́ди, що вони дадуть Господе́ві, — Я віддав їх тобі.
All the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they give to Jehovah, have I given thee.
Первопло́ди усього, що в їхньому краю́, що вони принесуть Господе́ві, будуть для тебе, — кожен чистий у твоїм домі буде те їсти.
The first ripe of everything that is in their land, which they shall bring to Jehovah, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
Усе, що розкриває утро́бу кожного тіла, що принесуть Господе́ві з-поміж людей та з-поміж скотини, буде для тебе. Тільки конче викупиш перворідного люди́ни, і перворідне з нечистої худобини викупиш.
Everything that breaketh open the womb of all flesh, which they present to Jehovah, of men or of beasts, shall be thine; nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou in any case ransom, and the firstborn of unclean beasts shalt thou ransom.
А ви́куп його: від місячного віку викупиш за твоєю оці́нкою, — п'ять ше́клів срібла на міру шеклем святині, двадцять ґер він.
And those that are to be ransomed from a month old shalt thou ransom, according to thy valuation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
Тільки перворідного з волів, або перворідного з овечок, або перворідного з кіз не викупиш, — вони святість: їхньою кров'ю окро́пиш же́ртівника, а їхній лій спалиш, як огняну́ жертву на любі пахощі для Господа.
But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom: they are holy. Thou shalt sprinkle their blood on the altar, and their fat shalt thou burn as an offering by fire for a sweet odour to Jehovah.
А їхнє м'ясо буде для тебе, — як грудина колиха́ння, і як стегно́ правиці буде для тебе.
And their flesh shall be thine; as the wave-breast and as the right shoulder shall it be thine.
Усі свя́тощі прино́шення, що Ізраїлеві сини принесуть для Господа, Я віддав тобі, і синам твоїм та дочкам твоїм із тобою, вічною постановою. Це міцни́й запові́т, — він вічний перед Господнім лицем для тебе та для насіння твого з тобою“.
All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to Jehovah, have I given thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute: it shall be an everlasting covenant of salt before Jehovah unto thee and thy seed with thee.
І сказав Господь до Аарона: „У їхньому краю́ ти не будеш мати власности, і не буде тобі частки між ними, — Я ча́стка твоя та власність твоя поміж Ізраїлевими синами!
And Jehovah said to Aaron, In their land thou shalt have no inheritance, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
А Левієвим синам Я дав ось кожну десятину в Ізраїлі на спа́дщину, взамін за їхню службу, бо вони виконують службу скинії заповіту.
The Levites' Portion
And to the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

І Ізраїлеві сини не приступлять уже до скинії заповіту, щоб не поне́сти гріха, і не вмерти.
Neither shall the children of Israel henceforth come near the tent of meeting, to bear sin and die.
І буде Леви́т сам виконувати службу скинії заповіту, і сам понесе́ вину свою. Це вічна постанова для ваших поколінь, а між Ізра́їлевими синами не будуть вони діди́чити спадщину,
But the Levite, he shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it is an everlasting statute throughout your generations. And among the children of Israel shall they possess no inheritance;
бо десятину Ізраїлевих синів, що вони принесуть як прино́шення для Господа, Я дав Левитам за спа́дщину. Тому Я сказав до них: Між Ізраїлевими синами не будуть вони діди́чити спа́дщину“.
for I have given for an inheritance to the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Jehovah; therefore I have said of them, They shall possess no inheritance among the children of Israel.
І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
The Heave Offering
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
„А до Левитів будеш ти промовляти та й скажеш їм: Коли ві́зьмете від Ізраїлевих синів ту десятину, що Я дав вам від них на ваше спа́дщину, то ви принесе́те з неї Господнє прино́шення, — десятину з десятини.
And to the Levites shalt thou speak, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer a heave-offering from it for Jehovah, the tenth of the tithe.
І буде пораховане ваше прино́шення як збіжжя з то́ку, і як по́вня з кадки чави́ла.
And your heave-offering shall be reckoned unto you, as the corn from the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
Так принесете й ви Господнє прино́шення зо всіх ваших десятин, що ві́зьмете від Ізраїлевих синів, і дасте з того Господнє прино́шення священикові Ааронові.
Thus ye also shall offer Jehovah's heave-offering of all your tithes, which ye take of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof Jehovah's heave-offering to Aaron the priest.
Зо всіх ваших да́рів принесе кожен Господнє прино́шення, зо всього найкращого посвя́чення з нього.
Out of all that is given you ye shall offer the whole heave-offering of Jehovah, -- of all the best thereof the hallowed part thereof.
І скажи їм: коли ви бу́дете прино́сити найкраще з нього, то це порахується Леви́там, як урожай то́ку, і як урожай кадки чави́ла.
And thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as produce of the threshing-floor, and as produce of the winepress.
І будете їсти це на кожному місці ви та дім ваш, бо це нагоро́да для вас взамін за вашу службу в скинії заповіту.
And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households; for it is your reward for your service in the tent of meeting.
І ви не понесете через це гріха́, коли будете приносити найкраще з нього, а свя́тощів Ізраїлевих синів не збезче́стите, і не повмираєте“.
And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, if ye heave from it the best of it; and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
