І станеться, коли при́йдуть на тебе всі ці слова, благослове́ння та прокля́ття, що я дав перед тобою, і ти ві́зьмеш їх до свого серця серед усіх цих народів, куди закинув тебе Господь, Бог твій,
Restoration Promised
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt take them to heart among all the nations whither Jehovah thy God hath driven thee,

і ти наве́рнешся до Господа, Бога свого, і будеш слухатися Його голосу в усьому, що я сьогодні тобі наказую, ти та сини твої, усім своїм серцем та всією своєю душею,
and shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and shalt hearken to his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy sons, with all thy heart and with all thy soul;
то пове́рне з неволі Господь, Бог твій, тебе, і змилосе́рдиться над тобою, і зно́ву позбирає тебе зо всіх народів, куди розпоро́шив тебе Господь, Бог твій.
that then Jehovah thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will gather thee again from all the peoples whither Jehovah thy God hath scattered thee.
Якщо буде твій вигна́нець на кінці неба, то й звідти позбирає тебе Господь, Бог твій, і звідти Він візьме тебе.
Though there were of you driven out unto the end of the heavens, from thence will Jehovah thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee;
І введе́ тебе Господь, Бог твій, до кра́ю, що посіли батьки твої, і ти посядеш його, і Він учинить добро тобі, і розмно́жить тебе більше за батьків твоїх.
and Jehovah thy God will bring thee into the land that thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
І обріже Господь, Бог твій, серце твоє та серце насіння твого, щоб ти любив Господа, Бога свого, усім своїм серцем та всією душею своєю, щоб жити тобі.
And Jehovah thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
І дасть Господь, Бог твій, усі ці прокля́ття на ворогів твоїх, та на тих, хто нена́видить тебе, хто гнав тебе.
And Jehovah thy God will put all these curses on thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, who have persecuted thee.
А ти ве́рнешся, і бу́деш слу́хатися Господнього голосу, і будеш вико́нувати всі Його заповіді, які я сьогодні наказую тобі.
But thou shalt return and hearken to the voice of Jehovah, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
І зробить Господь, Бог твій, що будеш ти мати на́дмір у кожному чині своєї руки, у пло́ді утро́би своєї, і в пло́ді худоби своєї, і в плоді своєї землі на до́бре, бо Господь зно́ву буде радіти тобою на добро, як радів був твоїми батька́ми,
And Jehovah thy God will make thee abound in every work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, for good; for Jehovah will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers;
коли будеш слухатися голосу Господа, Бога свого, щоб дотримувати заповіді Його та постанови Його, написані в цій книзі Зако́ну, коли наве́рнешся до Господа, Бога свого, усім серцем своїм та всією душею своєю,
if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn to Jehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
бо ця заповідь, що я сьогодні наказую тобі, не тяжка́ вона для тебе, і не дале́ка вона.
The Choice of Life or Death
For this commandment which I command thee this day is not too wonderful for thee, neither is it far off.
For this commandment which I command thee this day is not too wonderful for thee, neither is it far off.
Не на небі вона, щоб сказати: Хто зі́йде на небо для нас, та нам її ві́зьме і нам оголо́сить, а ми будемо виконувати її?
It is not in the heavens, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to the heavens, and bring it to us, that we should hear it and do it?
І не по тім боці моря вона, щоб сказати: Хто пі́де для нас на той бік моря, і візьме її нам, і оголо́сить її нам, а ми будемо виконувати її?
And it is not beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, that we should hear it and do it?
Бож дуже близька́ до тебе та річ, — вона в устах твоїх та в серці твоїм, щоб виконувати її.
For the word is very near to thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Дивися: я сьогодні дав перед тобою життя та добро, і смерть та зло.
See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil,
Бо я сьогодні наказую тобі любити Господа, Бога свого, ходити Його дорогами, та додержувати заповіді Його, і постанови Його, і зако́на Його, щоб ти жив, і розмножився, і поблагосло́вить тебе Господь, Бог твій, у кра́ї, куди ти входиш на насліддя.
in that I command thee this day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that thou mayest live and multiply, and that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
А якщо серце твоє відве́рнеться, і не будеш ти слухатися, і даси себе зве́сти, і станеш вклонятися іншим бога́м, і будеш їм служити,
But if thy heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and thou shalt bow down to other gods and serve them;
я сьогодні представив вам, що конче погинете ви, недовго житимете на цій землі, до якої ти перехо́диш Йорда́н, щоб увійти туди на оволоді́ння її.
I denounce unto you this day that ye shall surely perish; ye shall not prolong your days upon the land whereunto thou passest over the Jordan to possess it.
Сьогодні взяв я за свідків проти вас небо й землю, — життя та смерть дав я перед вами, благослове́ння та прокля́ття. І ти ви́бери життя, щоб жив ти та насіння твоє,
I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you: life and death have I set before you, blessing and cursing: choose then life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed,
щоб любити Господа, Бога свого, щоб слухатися голосу Його та щоб ли́нути до Нього, бож Він життя твоє, і довгота́ днів твоїх, щоб сидіти на цій землі, яку заприсягнув Господь батька́м твоїм Авраамові, Ісакові та Якову, дати їм“.
in loving Jehovah thy God, in hearkening to his voice, and in cleaving to him -- for this is thy life and the length of thy days -- that thou mayest dwell in the land which Jehovah swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
