Господи, доки Ти зовсім не звертатимеш на мене уваги? Доки відвертатимеш Своє обличчя від мене?
They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: [with] flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak.
Доки буду нагромаджувати роздуми в моїй душі й увесь день складати скорботи в моєму серці? Доки буде величатися мій ворог наді мною?
Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things,
Зглянься і вислухай мене, Господи, Боже мій. Просвіти мої очі, щоби часом я не заснув смертним сном,
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who [is] lord over us?
щоб не сказав мій ворог: Я його переміг! Ті, які мене цькують, зрадіють, якщо я спотикнуся.
Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in safety, at whom they puff.
