Почуй мій голос, Господи. Нехай Твої вуха будуть уважні до голосу мого благання.
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
Якщо, Господи, будеш зважати на беззаконня, то хто, Господи, устоїть?
The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
Задля Твого закону я чекав на Тебе, Господи; моя душа очікувала Твого слова.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
Моя душа покладає надію на Господа — від ранньої сторожі й до ночі. Нехай Ізраїль від ранньої сторожі надіється на Господа.
Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
