Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Не будеш з більшістю учасником зла. Не пристанеш до натовпу, схиляючись за більшістю, аби викривити правосуддя.
Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
І не виявлятимеш бідному несправедливу милість на суді.
Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
Якщо зустрінеш вола чи осла свого ворога, які заблукали, то приведеш назад і повернеш йому.
If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
Якщо ж побачиш осла свого ворога, який упав під своєю ношею, не пройдеш повз нього, але разом з ним підведеш його.
If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
Для бідного не викривлятимеш вироку на його суді.
Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
Будеш уникати всякої несправедливої справи. Не вб’єш невинного чи праведного і не виправдаєш несправедливого через хабар.
Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
Тож не братимеш хабарів, оскільки дари засліплюють очі видющих і спотворюють правдиві свідчення.
And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
І не пригноблюйте чужинця, адже ви знаєте душу чужинця, — бо ж ви самі були переселенцями в Єгипетській землі!
Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Шість років будеш сіяти на своїй землі й збиратимеш її врожай.
Sabbath Laws
And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

А на сьомий — зробиш перерву і залишиш її, — і їстимуть убогі з твого народу, а те, що останеться, з’їдять дикі звірі. Так само зробиш зі своїм виноградником і зі своїм оливковим садом.
But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
Шість днів робитимеш свої діла. Сьомого ж дня будеш відпочивати, щоб відпочив і твій віл, і твій осел, і щоб відпочив син твоєї рабині та чужинець.
Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
Будете дотримуватися всього, що Я вам сказав. І не згадуватимете імен інших богів, — ніхто не почує його з ваших уст.
And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
Тричі на рік святкуватимете Мені.
Three Yearly Feasts
Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

Будете дотримуватися Свята опрісноків. Сім днів будете споживати опрісноки, як заповів Я тобі, — під час місяця нових колосків, адже тоді ти вийшов з Єгипту. Не з’явишся переді Мною з порожніми руками.
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
І відзначатимеш свято жнив — перших плодів своєї праці з того, що ти посієш на своєму полі, і свято завершення збирання плодів своєї праці зі свого поля наприкінці року.
And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
Тричі на рік нехай з’явиться кожний чоловік з твого роду перед твоїм Господом Богом.
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.
Отже, коли вижену народи з-перед твого обличчя і поширю твої кордони, то не приноситимеш крові Моєї жертви на квашеному, і не лежатиме жир з Мого свята до ранку.
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
Найкраще з перших плодів твоєї землі принесеш до дому Господа, свого Бога. Не варитимеш ягняти в молоці його матері.
The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
Ось Я посилаю Мого ангела перед твоїм обличчям, щоб він охороняв тебе в дорозі, щоб привів тебе в ту землю, яку Я приготував для тебе.

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Пильнуй за собою, слухайся його і не виявлятимеш непослуху йому. Адже він не відступить від тебе, тому що Моє Ім’я є на ньому.
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
Якщо уважно прислухатимешся [1] до Мого голосу і робитимеш усе, що лише скажу тобі, то Я буду ворогом твоїх ворогів і буду супротивником твоїх супротивників.
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
Оскільки Мій ангел — твій провідник — піде і заведе тебе до аморейця, хета, ферезейця, ханаанця, ґерґесейця, евейця і євусейця, — Я знищу їх.
For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
Не поклонятимешся їхнім богам і не служитимеш їм. Не чинитимеш за їхніми ділами, але неодмінно повалиш [2] і вщент порозбиваєш [3] їхні стовпи.
Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
Ти будеш служити Господу, твоєму Богові, і Я поблагословлю твій хліб, твоє вино та твою воду, і відверну від вас хворобу.
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Не буде бездітного і безплідної на твоїй землі, а число твоїх днів зроблю повним.
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
Я пошлю страх як твого провідника, і приведу в замішання всі ті народи, до яких ти ввійдеш, і зроблю всіх твоїх ворогів утікачами.
I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
І пошлю шершнів перед тобою, і вони проженуть від тебе аморейців, евейців, ханаанців і хетів.
And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Не виганятиму їх за один рік, щоб земля не стала пусткою, і щоб не стали численними супроти тебе земні звірі.
I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
Поволі, поступово виганятиму їх з-перед тебе, доки не станеш численним і не успадкуєш землю.
By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
Я встановлю твої кордони від Червоного моря й аж до Филистимського моря, і від пустелі — аж до великої ріки Євфрат. І віддам у ваші руки тих, хто заселяє цю землю, — Я прожену їх з-перед тебе.
And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
Не укладатимеш з ними угоди, а з їхніми богами — завіту.
Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
