І взяв його архімаґир, і сказав йому: Твій Господь Бог сповістив це зло проти цього місця,
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
і Господь зробив це, бо ви згрішили проти Нього і не послухалися Його голосу.

І він прийшов до Ґодолія в Массифу, і сів серед народу, що залишився на землі.

І почули всі володарі сили, що в полі, вони і їхні мужі, бо цар Вавилону поставив Ґодолія в землі й підпорядкував йому їхніх мужів та жінок, яких не відселив до Вавилону.
How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
