І до мене було Господнє слово, що промовляло:
Signs of the Coming Captivity
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Людський сину, не живи посеред їхніх неправедностей, вони мають очі, щоби бачити, та не бачать, і мають вуха, щоби чути, та не чують, тому що це — Дім, що засмучує.
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not, which have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house.
І ти, людський сину, зроби собі посуд полонених вдень перед ними і будеш забраний у полон з твого місця на інше місце перед ними, щоб побачили, що це — Дім, що засмучує.
And thou, son of man, prepare thee a captive's baggage, and go captive by day in their sight; and thou shalt go captive from thy place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.
І винесеш твій посуд, посуд полонених вдень перед їхніми очима, і ти вийдеш увечері, як виходить полонений.
And bring forth thy baggage by day in their sight, as a captive's baggage, and thou thyself, go forth at even in their sight as they that go forth into captivity.
Перед ними зроби собі діру в стіні й перейдеш крізь неї.
Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.
Перед ними на рамена будеш піднесений і вийдеш схованим, закриєш своє обличчя і не побачиш землю. Тому що Я дав тебе для дому Ізраїля, як знак.
In their sight shalt thou bear [it] upon [thy] shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; thou shalt cover thy face, and thou shalt not see the ground: for I have appointed thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.
І я зробив так за всім, що Ти мені заповів, і я виніс, наче посуд полонених вдень, а ввечері я собі зробив пролом у стіні, і я, ховаючись, вийшов, і був винесений на плечах перед ними.
And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my baggage by day, as a captive's baggage, and in the even I digged through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, [and] bore it upon [my] shoulder, in their sight.
І до мене вранці було Господнє слово, що казало:
And in the morning the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Людський сину, хіба Я не сказав тобі, доме Ізраїля, доме, що засмучуєш: Що ти чиниш?
Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
Скажи їм: Так говорить Господь, Володар і Проводир в Єрусалимі та в усьому домі Ізраїля, які є посеред них,
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This burden [concerneth] the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.
скажи: Я чиню знаки посеред нього. Як Я зробив, так їм і буде. Вони підуть у переселення і в полон,
Say, I am your sign: as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall go into exile, into captivity.
і володаря серед них будуть нести на плечах, і він крадькома вийде через мур, — зробить пролом у ньому, щоб вийти через нього. Він сховає своє обличчя, щоб не побачили його оком, і він не побачить більше землю.
And the prince that is among them shall bear upon [his] shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth; they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby; he shall cover his face, that he see not the land with [his] eyes.
І Я простягну Мою сіть на нього, і він буде схоплений Моєю пасткою, і Я поведу його до Вавилону, у землю халдеїв, і він її не побачить, і там скінчиться.
And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; but he shall not see it, and there shall he die.
І всіх його помічників, що довкола нього, і всіх, хто його підтримує, Я розсію на всякий вітер і меча оголю за ними.
And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his troops; and I will draw out the sword after them.
І пізнають, що Я — Господь, коли Я їх розсію між народами, і розсію їх в країнах.
And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah when I shall scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries.
І залишу з них мужів числом від меча, від голоду і від смерті, щоб розповіли про всі їхні беззаконня в народах, куди вони туди ввійдуть. І пізнають, що Я — Господь.
But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations whither they shall come; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Людський сину, з болем їстимеш твій хліб і з мукою та болем питимеш воду,
Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with anxiety;
і скажеш народові землі: Так говорить Господь тим, що живуть в Єрусалимі в землі Ізраїля: Їхній хліб з недостатком їстимуть і їхню воду зі згубою питимуть, щоб загинула земля з її повнотою, бо в безбожності всі, що живуть на ній.
and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink their water with astonishment, because her land shall be left desolate of all that is in it, for the violence of all them that dwell therein.
І їхні заселені міста опустіють, і земля буде на знищення. І пізнаєте, що Я — Господь.
And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
І до мене було Господнє слово, що промовляло:
The Presumptuous Proverb
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Людський сину, яка це для вас притча в землі Ізраїля, що кажете: Дні далекі, загинуло видіння?
Son of man, what is that proverb which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days shall be prolonged, and every vision faileth?
Через це скажи їм: Так говорить Господь: Відверну цю притчу і більше не скажуть цю притчу, доме Ізраїля! Бо скажеш їм: Наблизилися дні й слово всякого видіння.
Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the accomplishment of every vision.
Адже не буде більше жодного оманливого і чародійного видіння для милості посеред синів Ізраїля,
For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination in the midst of the house of Israel.
тому що Я, Господь, скажу Мої слова, скажу і зроблю, і не продовжу більше, бо у ваші дні, доме, що засмучує, скажу слово і зроблю, — говорить Господь.
For I [am] Jehovah; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed, it shall be no more deferred. For in your days, O rebellious house, will I speak the word and will perform it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Людський сину, ось дратівний дім Ізраїля впевнено говорить [1]: Видіння, яке цей бачить, на численні дні, і на далекі часи цей пророкує.
Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days, and he prophesieth of times that are far off.
Через це скажи їм: Так говорить Господь: Не розтягнуться більше всі Мої слова, які тільки промовлю. Скажу і зроблю! — говорить Господь.
Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: There shall none of my words be deferred any more, but the word that I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
