І ангелові Сардійської Церкви напиши: Це каже Той, Хто має сім Божих Духів і сім зірок: Я знаю твої діла, що маєш ім’я, наче ти живий, але ти мертвий.
Будь чуйний і зміцнюй інших, які мають померти, бо Я не знайшов твоїх діл досконалими перед Моїм Богом.
Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.
Тож згадай те, що ти прийняв і почув, — і зберігай та покайся. А коли не будеш пильнувати, то Я прийду [до тебе], наче злодій, і не помітиш, в яку годину найду на тебе.
Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
Але маєш декілька імен у Сардах, які не заплямували свого одягу і ходитимуть зі Мною в білому, бо є того гідні.
Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
Переможець зодягнеться в білий одяг, і не зітру його імені з книги життя, і визнаю його ім’я перед Моїм Отцем та перед Його ангелами.
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Хто має вухо, нехай слухає, що Дух промовляє до Церков.
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
І ангелові Філадельфійської Церкви напиши: Так каже Святий, Істинний, Який має ключ Давида, Котрий відчиняє, — і ніхто не зачинить, і зачиняє — і ніхто не відчинить.

These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Я знаю твої діла. Ось Я перед тобою відчинив двері, і їх ніхто не може зачинити. Ти маєш малу силу, але Слово Моє зберіг і не відрікся від Мого Імені.
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Ось Я дам зі зборища сатани тих, які називають себе юдеями, а такими не є, бо кажуть неправду, — зроблю так, що вони прийдуть, поклоняться тобі до ніг і пізнають, що Я тебе полюбив.
I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars — I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.
Оскільки ти зберіг слово Мого терпіння, то Я і тебе збережу від години випробування, що має прийти на Всесвіт, аби випробувати мешканців Землі.
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
Я незабаром приходжу. Тримайся ж того, що маєш, щоб ніхто не забрав твого вінця.
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Переможця зроблю стовпом у храмі Мого Бога, і він уже не вийде звідти; і напишу на ньому Ім’я Мого Бога, а також назву міста Мого Бога — нового Єрусалима, що сходить з неба, від Мого Бога, і Моє нове Ім’я.
The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
Хто має вухо, нехай слухає, що Дух промовляє до Церков.

Я знаю твої діла, що ти ні холодний, ні гарячий. О, якби був ти або холодним, або гарячим!
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
А що ти ледь теплий, — ні гарячий, ні холодний, — то Я змушений викинути тебе з Моїх уст.
So, because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Адже ти кажеш: Я багатий, розбагатів і нічого не потребую! А не знаєш, що ти і нужденний, і мізерний, і вбогий, і сліпий, і голий!
You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
Раджу тобі купити в Мене золото, очищене у вогні, щоби збагатитися, та білий одяг, щоб одягнутися, аби не видно було сорому твоєї наготи, та мазь, щоби помазати твої очі, аби ти бачив.
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Кого Я люблю, того докоряю і караю. Будь же ревний і покайся!
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
Ось Я стою під дверима і стукаю. Якщо хто почує Мій голос і відчинить двері, то Я ввійду до нього і буду вечеряти з ним, і він зі Мною.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
Переможцеві дозволю сісти зі Мною на Моєму престолі, — як і Я, перемігши, сів з Моїм Отцем на Його престолі.
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
