Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it.

Joshua to Succeed Moses
And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. -

Und Mose rief Josua und sprach zu ihm vor den Augen des ganzen Israel: Sei getrost und unverzagt; denn du wirst dies Volk in das Land bringen, das der HERR ihren Vätern geschworen hat ihnen zu geben, und du wirst es unter sie austeilen.

Mose rief Josua herbei und sagte vor den Augen ganz Israels zu ihm: Empfange Vollmacht und Kraft: Du sollst mit diesem Volk in das Land hineinziehen, von dem du weißt: Der HERR hat ihren Vätern geschworen, es ihnen zu geben. Du sollst es an sie als Erbbesitz verteilen.
