Damals spaltete sich das Volk Israel in zwei Parteien. Die eine Hälfte des Volkes stand hinter Tibni, dem Sohn Ginats, und wollte ihn zum König machen; die andere Hälfte schloss sich Omri an.

Dazumal teilte sich das Volk Israel in zwei Teile. Eine Hälfte hing an Thibni, dem Sohn Ginaths, daß sie ihn zum König machten; die andere Hälfte aber hing an Omri.

Nach Simris Tod gab es eine Spaltung im Volk: Der eine Teil wollte Tibni, den Sohn von Ginat, zum König machen. Der andere Teil stand hinter Omri.
