Das Innere des Hauses ließ Salomo mit bestem Gold auskleiden und vor dem hochheiligen Ort ließ er goldene Ketten anbringen.

Und Salomo überzog das Haus inwendig mit lauterem Golde und zog goldene Riegel vor dem Chor her, den er mit Gold überzogen hatte,

ebenso der gesamte Innenraum des Heiligtums. Vor dem Eingang zum Allerheiligsten ließ Salomo goldene Ketten aufhängen.
